About Us

The Florida Leadership Council is a coalition of concerned citizens from every corner of the state and from all walks of life. We are teachers, farmers, veterans, small business owners, retirees, mothers and fathers. Many of us are former elected officials who served at all levels of Government from Congress to city halls. We are united by our hope for a brighter future for Florida and for our children and grandchildren.

Our mission is to restore integrity, accountability and compassion to our politics – ensuring policies that will uplift and support everyday Floridians. We advocate for quality public education, accessible healthcare, safe communities, protecting our environment, strengthening our economy for working families, and defending democratic institutions. Together, our goal is to build a Florida that reflects the values, hopes and voices of its people.

The Florida Leadership Council is dedicated to this mission through our work providing information to citizens (wording?) and supporting, mentoring and electing candidates for local and state office who share these values and vision for a brighter future for Florida.
